INVESTORS GIVING BACK™ AND INTERNATIONAL RENOWNED
WEALTH ADVISOR, ROBERT SHEMIN, TEAM UP TO HELP
A BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA FAMILY IN NEED
Birmingham Family In Need Will Receive New Home On June 9, 2011
Investors Giving Back™, the community outreach program of Insiders Edge™, in conjunction with bestselling author and internationally renowned wealth advisor, Robert Shemin, is reaching out to the community in Birmingham, Alabama.
On June 9, 2011, at 10 AM local time, one family that was affected by the devastation that ravaged the city on April 27, will be presented with a free house, recently remodeled, and free and clear of liens or mortgages. This house giveaway is being coordinated in conjunction with the local Salvation Army.
Located at 6830 1st Avenue S., Birmingham Alabama, this three-bedroom home is valued at approximately $75,000
With their focus on giving back to the community, the individual real estate investors who make up the Investors Giving Back program have pooled their resources and purchased, remodeled, and paid off this home. Robert Shemin will be working with the family for the next year to advise them on how to become and remain financially stable. “We must never forget to give back to those less fortunate. And we must remember, in good times and bad, to give, not just houses and money, but our time and skills. Every single person can make a difference.”
Investors Giving Back is the charitable contribution arm of The Insiders Edge Real Estate Buying Summit™, an event held once a month in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nearly 200 real estate investors from all over the U.S. and Canada attend this monthly event. At the Summit, investors learn from the nation’s top real estate experts (one of whom is Shemin), exchange information, and purchase investment properties. In addition, the group spends
considerable resources to give back to the communities where they have collectively purchased more than 20 investment properties.
”The investments we have been making as a group really make a big difference in the communities. We are actually reshaping entire communities in Birmingham and surrounding areas. We are revitalizing neighborhoods where there used to be dozens of vacant homes, that are now rehabbed, remodeled, and filled with young families who are contributing to the communities they live in. Prices on these homes that have been rehabbed and rented are increasing both the price and the saleability of entire areas of the city,” says Lars Johnson, a senior adviser to the Investor Summit. “Our investors, employees, and managers feel like we’re part of the community here. So when we watched the devastation created by the tornado in April, we knew we
had to take action and help any way we could.” Johnson continues. “It’s touching to see two hundred people band together for a common goal in support of healing a community and the families that live here.”
